Helping women navigate the difficult seasons of family planning, motherhood and stress

Welcome!

Motherhood is beautiful, but not always easy. Even the best and most amazing mothers have hard days and struggles. Motherhood, and the journey of getting there, often has trials and challenges. As a woman and a mother, it can also be difficult to find your own identity while managing a household. Whether you have struggled with infertility and/or loss in trying to have children, have found emotional difficulty and/or mental health concerns in the postpartum period or like the rest of us, have just struggled with the difficult days of motherhood (it’s not always perfect!), you are not alone and there is hope to work through these things.

Enriching Your Life Together

You might feel hesitant to seek out help as support as many women do. Many women feel like they should be able to handle it all on their own. This is not the case, and seeking help can empower you and help you to feel like you are living the best version of yourself.

About Me

I was raised in Arizona but have lived in beautiful Colorado Springs for over fifteen years. I attended The University Of Arizona where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs for my Master’s Degree.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2008 and I spent the beginning part of my career working with the child protection system. I spent many years providing both mental health and substance abuse therapy to teens and adults. After having my first child and walking through the journey of becoming a mother and the wonderful, yet difficult, postpartum period, I found a new professional (and personal) passion of working with women and helping other moms in the journey of family planning and motherhood. I firmly believe when we show up for moms (especially new moms) and give them permission and grace to say it is not always easy, amazing things happen.

Over the years, I have worked to gain specialized training that helps me to best support my clients, to include trainings in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health and a Level II Certified Addictions Counselor.

I am a big proponent of self-care for my clients and try to engage in it myself as much as possible. I love spending time with my husband and two young children, especially at home relaxing. I always look forward to my daily cup of coffee (usually more than just one cup) and love going away for girls weekends with my closest friends.
